The amended Rogers Broadcasting brief for 98.5 FM CIOC Victoria was approved by Industry Canada for technical requirements and sent to the CRTC for review.
We would prefer the CRTC permit us to reapply on 98.7 FM protected at 60 watts erp.
The most likely outcome now is a CRTC hearing will be next, we will be requested by the CRTC to comment on the Rogers application.
Our case at this hearing will be on content, programming, emergency response and community support. It would be nice to bring along a new CD from our recent Live at the Haven show. Demonstrate benefits in the public interest.
