AGM called for Dec 15th 2009 7 pm upstairs at Suzys. Next meeting is November 17th, same time and location.

Board nominated directors agreed to let their name stand.  David Vincent and John Hague are currently appointed as board of directors and will join incumbent Gerry Mountain running for the director positions at the AGM. Gerry is running for a two year term. David will run for a one year term and John will run for a two year directorship.

Domain name ckgi.ca will be renewed for one more year.

Our Main Audio Board is an Arrakis 1200 -5S analogue board with outputs for mono or stereo. We will be connecting this board into our broadcast configuration planned with on air and production studios along with a vocal booth. The board is back from the Port Theatre for evaluation, by their master technician, for use with a Rode NT1 microphone.

When implemented, internal discussion around station matters will use the internet address http://www.forums.ckgi.ca/  with a current install of the phpbb version 3 web application… more info at http://www.phpbb.com/

Live at The Haven will be recorded and approved music pressed for sale on CD. Clearance for copyrighted material will include minimum payment for under 500 copies.

NCRC 2010 June 8th Book Fair will run at the Surf’s Heritage Hall. Susan Yates will co-ordinate with Gerry and Ken on this event. Poetry Slam to follow that night.

Director Kathy will  be on reduced workload during this winter season. Work commitments require her attention. Kathy will still be promoting the upcoming fundraiser, attending and selling tickets for the January 1st shows. Ken will confirm performing artist’s attendance and will request an experienced stage manger for the Haven show. Kathy will not undertake press release oversight, that will go to another volunteer.
