A delegation of Kelly Price and Ken Zakreski from Gabriola Radio (CKGI) attended the CHLY Oct 28th 2009 Annual General Meeting and was permitted to make an announcement during the meeting on the following matters:
The Rogers’ application is still active for 98.5 FM. If they are approved Rogers will provide CKGI with an engineering brief so we will eventually get on the dial.
Gabriola Radio is hosting the National Campus Community Radio Conference June 7th to 11th, 2010 at Camp Miriam. NCRC usually hosts about 100 delegates from all over Canada and the US. Gabriola Radio desires to coordinate with CHLY to ensure the best presenters for the workshops / caucus / seminars / plenary scheduled. To that goal Kelly Price has agreed to liaise with CHLY to seek out programmers’ input.
