Training! Two Spoken Word Manuals in Draft for You!

You will find downloads for two manuals, “The Interview” and “The NewsRoom”, both are introductory guides to assist station mentors and volunteer broadcasters teach and learn the basic technologies, techniques and values supporting excellence in Spoken Word on CKGI 98.7 FM.  Enjoy!  And, if you have problems downloading, please contact John Hague via:

First Board of Directors meeting of the approved CKGI

Greeting new board members and returning.
- Confirm board positions and responsibilities

Show Jan 7th update.
Wheelchair accessibility accommodations approved

Approve funding plans for 2012
One show per month for twelve months. Staffing budget for production assistance approved $600 to cover wages. Employee to be hired.
Currently in development January, February and November shows.

President’s report development and process. “Come Together” shall be the focus and it shall include all the facets of the station start up and tower site proposal.

Islands Trust public meeting – to be held in 2012 date tba. Approve venue costs and printing $75
